Cath Lab Services
- The cardiac catheterization laboratory or the Cath lab allows the doctor to examine the abnormal location and the severity of coronary artery disease, the work of the cardiac muscle, contraction, myocardial infarction, and the pressure measurement in the heart chambers at various locations, including abnormalities of the heart valves and the contraction of the cardiac muscle. If abnormalities are found, the doctor will conduct balloon angioplasty and percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention, and closure of the septal defect by cardiac catheterization.
